The Weminuche
Valley Ranch

The most secluded and remote of all the Lindner Ranches, the Weminuche Valley Ranch (WVR) is nestled on 1700 acres at the end of a winding dirt road an hour outside the small town of Pagosa Springs. Surrounded on three sides by the 500,000-acre Weminuche Wilderness, visitors are immersed in the splendor of the lush Alpine Valley. The WVR boasts six miles of private water on the Weminuche River. Its wild, untouched feel will make you feel like the first person to ever cast a line in its waters. The Weminuche Creek, Ute Indian term for winding river, offers outstanding Rainbow and Brown fishing. The beauty of its solitude and spectacular mountain views are responsible for many moments of wonder and awe.

The Weminuche Valley Ranch features two cabins situated two miles apart on the property that are framed by spectacular 180 degree views of the Weminuche Valley. Access to both cabins allows your group flexibility, privacy and space to unwind and connect with the surrounding beauty. This location has been host to fly-fishing pleasure seekers looking for an unforgettable experience, as well as corporate retreats and team building.

The Weminuche Valley Ranch offers direct access onto the trails of the Weminuche Wilderness, a federally protected area accessible only by foot or horseback. The western portion is extremely rugged and contains the famous Needle Mountains and the rugged Grenadier Range. It includes a large portion of the San Juan Mountains and is the largest of the 41 such wilderness areas in Colorado that in total, cover 3.5 million acres of land.
